Erik and Guin first met in High School in the small, quaint town of Valmeyer, IL. Erik was a Junior and Guin a Freshman. What was considered "studying" for Earth Science in Mrs. Raders study hall quickly turned into a budding relationship. Each year, with love growing stronger and the two growing closer, they've celebrated new milestones, such as getting a dog, moving in together in Hannibal, MO, and now getting married.

The waterfall was actually plan C. The glacier

was plan B. And plan A was marrying her a long,

long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her.

For those of you who don't know, this is a

paraphrased quote from the office, mine and

Guin's favorite show. But that is exactly who I

proposed to today, the person that loves to quote

The Office as much as I do. The person I am and

will continue to go on adventures with. The

person l've loved and knew I would be with since

high school. The love of my life and my very best

friend.

If you know Guin and I, you probably know one of our favorite things is just being around each other and celebrating every moment, big or small. If you don't know us, well... we're stage five clingers.

Even when I'm away I still get the daily hilarious Facebook reels from Guin that make us both laugh.

Whether we are doing painting classes, going on trips to Mexico, enjoying a cruise to Alaska, playing with our dog coco, or just laying in bed watching Facebook reels, there is always love, laughter, and memories to be made.

We look forward to seeing you all at our wedding to celebrate our big day! We are so excited and have been looking forward to this day since the day we met. It will be an amazing day to look back on as the years fly by and we begin our new adventure together!
